These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of This Is Palestine’s DIY digital exhibitions (referred to as “the Exhibitions”) and the associated digital material library (referred to as “the Library”).

By accessing or downloading any of the exhibition materials, you ("Host", "you") agree to abide by these Terms.

1. Overview of the Service

This Is Palestine provides downloadable, ready-to-display digital exhibitions composed of visual, audiovisual, and educational content including:

  • Artwork and archival materials
  • Photographs and posters
  • Infographics and statistics
  • Videos and audio recordings
  • Printable exhibition components and installation guides

These materials are designed to support hosts in organizing physical exhibitions in schools, libraries, universities, museums, public institutions, and community spaces. Exhibitions are provided in Arabic and English and formatted for flexibility and adaptability to different spaces.

2. Access and Use

  • Access to the Library requires prior approval through an online request form.
  • Once approved, you will receive instructions via email for downloading and using the materials.
  • All exhibitions are intended for educational, cultural, and non-commercial use only.

 3. Usage Guidelines

  • Hosts may print and display the materials according to the provided specifications.
  • Hosts may select from the exhibition library the pieces and sizes appropriate for their display space, provided they include the official exhibition title panel and key materials to preserve exhibition integrity.
  • Exhibitions may not be displayed online or virtually under any circumstances.

 4. Content Integrity

  • All materials are the intellectual property of This Is Palestine and must not be modified in any way, including:
    • Altering content, texts, visuals, or branding
    • Adding or removing logos
    • Editing the design or layout of the downloadable files
  • Select materials are designed with adaptable templates that allow hosts to add context or narratives relevant to their communities without altering the original museum-provided content.

 5. Credit and Attribution

  • All printed and displayed materials must include appropriate credit to This Is Palestine as the original source and producer.
  • Hosts must not remove or obscure copyright or attribution notices.

 6. Cost and Responsibilities

  • This Is Palestine offers the exhibitions free of charge.
  • The host is solely responsible for:
    • All costs associated with printing, installation, and display
    • Selecting appropriate materials and sizes
    • Ensuring the physical space is safe and suitable for public exhibition

 7. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use the materials for commercial purposes, resale, or profit-generating activities
  • Modify core content or misrepresent the exhibition’s purpose

 8. Termination and Revocation

This Is Palestine reserves the right to revoke access to the content or require the removal of an exhibition if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Misuse or distortion of materials occurs
  • The exhibition is used for purposes that conflict with the Museum’s mission

 9. Limitation of Liability

This Is Palestine is not responsible for:

  • Damages or losses incurred from hosting or printing exhibitions
  • Technical printing errors, display issues, or public reception
  • Interpretations or misrepresentations by third parties

 10. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or on our website.
