"Women of Palestine" is a spatial and data-driven exploration of survival, resistance, and the female body under occupation. Utilising the rigorous visual archives of Visualizing Palestine, this exhibition translates stark statistics into a deeply human narrative. The journey begins at the macro level, mapping the overarching architecture of colonial violence and systemic reproductive injustice. As visitors move deeper into the space, the focus narrows to the intimately personal: the physical realities of giving birth at checkpoints, the collapse of maternal healthcare, and the weaponisation of borders to fracture families.
However, this exhibition is not solely a documentation of trauma. It culminates in an immersive reflection on the stolen dreams and enduring resilience of Palestinian girls. By transforming these critical data points into spatial experiences, "Women of Palestine" demands that we look beyond the numbers to see the unyielding spirit of the women holding their communities together.
