Evidence of Erasure

Evidence of Erasure reframes architecture from a symbol of permanence into a site of forensic investigation, documenting the systematic "unmaking" of Palestinian society. Drawing from the archives of Visualizing Palestine, this exhibition moves beyond temporary headlines to examine Spaciocide - the deliberate destruction of the environment across three layers: the displacement of villages, the bureaucratic machinery of home demolitions, and the erasure of intellectual heritage. By presenting Data as Witness through maps, timelines, and forensic accounts, the exhibition invites visitors to engage in an act of counter-erasure, acknowledging a presence that remains indelible even when the physical landscape is destroyed.
